Mambo Italiano
I enjoyed this movie and it was very funny in spots. I would recommend watching it for a light comedy.

Happy Anniversary! The site is now one year old. I thought I would freshen things up a bit by changing the look of the site. There are also some other things that I am going to add like a photo gallery. I am pretty happy with the new look of the site, but there may be some tweaks that still might show up.

I know I don't post often enough and I hope that does change. Summer is winding down and Fall is on it's way. Cooler days and nights are in store but I hope to enjoy the nice weather while it lasts. I am not looking forward to all the snow and slush of Winter just yet.

For now, I have to get to work.

Until next time....

I know. I know. I don't post here often enough. I try to have good intentions, but things come up. There are lots of things that have gone on since my last post. I've taken two trips to Boston and have gotten a new car. I'll post more on those topics later.

It's summertime, though you may not know it. The weather in Ohio has not been all that great. Now I know I shouldn't complain because we've had some nice weekends and our weather has been much better than in other parts of the country (sorry New England!), but it still hasn't been all that much of what I would call "summer" weather. Last summer was the same. It just wasn't really warm enough to enjoy my pool. This summer, while I have been swimming more than last, is looking to also not be a really hot summer for swimming. We still have a month or so of the swimming season left so hopefully things will improve.

This weekend was forecasted to be rainy so I planned to do some indoor stuff that needed done. It ended up being a nice weekend. Sunny, not much rain and temps were not bad. I didn't get in the pool but I did make some vegetable beef soup for dinner which turned out really good. Lunch was some hot dogs and baked beans. Tonight I am making a homemade cherry pie. The local fruit farm gets in pitted tart cherries once a year and I picked up some to freeze. It will be the first time in a while that I have made a pie crust from scratch so we'll see how it turns out. Dinner tonight is planned to be a rotisserie chicken that I am going to do on my grill. It also is another nice day out so maybe I can get in the pool a little as well.

Until next time...

Someone sent this pic to me in my email....
